She paced the lounge room floor once again, knowing the exact distance between the fireplace and the wall opposite without even thinking of it and thought to herself that she could walk it blindfolded and still not crash into any of the sparce furniture.

She didn't even know anymore what she was waiting for, because she could only think of the cramp space of the chalet out in the middle of nowhere and she suddenly realised that no matter how cold, or no matter how dark it was outside, she just HAD to leave the smothering atmosphere.
